Bio: Asha Parekh (born 2 October 1942) is an Indian film actress, director, and producer who was one of the top actresses in Hindi cinema from 1959 to 1973.[2] In 1992, she was honoured with the Padma Shri by the Government of India. Because of her successful career in film industry she is regarded as the Hit Girl of bollywood. Parekh is regarded as one of the most successful and influential Hindi movie actresses of all time.[3]
