Komal Chhabria is an Indian Method actor. Trained at the Jeff Goldberg studio in Bandra. She has been a Radio Jockey & voice artiste for several years before she started acting. Has appeared in films like Wajah tum ho and in the upcoming sequel. Her first acting break was in Yfilms It's a Mans world in 2016. Her most recent work has been Alt Balajis webseries Dev DD directed by Ken Ghosh and Vikram Bhatts webseries Hadh, directed by Siddhant Sachdev. She has also appeared in several TVCs like Fruits up with Taapsee Pannu and digital ads like Amazon & another for a London so fashion store Ashni & Co. She was the mother in TVFs viral video that released on Mothers Day in 2017, called Moms first video call that was released on Youtube. Her most recent work was in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's, Padmaavat, in the role of Begum, as Aalauddins aunt. She has appeared in a film with Sunny Deol and a commercial with Madhuri Dixit that will release soon. On stage Komal will be seen as Savitri from the immortal play Aadhe Adhure written by Mohan Rakesh. |
